Les Dennis is set to return to Coronation Street and if he gets his way, it could be permanent.
The 60-year-old actor and comedian joined the soap earlier this year as Michael Rodwell, a petty thief who burgled Gail McIntyre.
His character is currently serving time in prison, but it won’t be the last that Corrie fans will be seeing of him.
‘Gail will come and see Michael in prison in a restorative justice storyline… She comes to prison and meets Michael and asks him why he did it,’ he revealed during an interview with Graham Norton on BBC Radio 2.
